No aftersales care or empathy towards the Customer. Just quote law and policy and told to speak to the Manufacturer. Would never use them again, would be better to stick to the independents ?

Don't honour Topcashback payments.
Bought an expensive TV from them about a 18 months ago via Topcashback website. It was offering 6% cashback which would have been around £40. TV arrived and claim submitted. After a lengthy wait I was given £16 cashback which I challenged. After a further wait TCB said claim was cancelled by retailer agent as I didn't buy it from them.
I did and again challenged but was told it was final and TCB have no control over it.
Don't buy anything from Richer Sounds via TCB. Waste of time and energy.
Use John Lewis instead.

Top quality customer service
I ordered a turntable and set of speakers online, they were delivered the folliwing day. It turned out I had picked the wrong speakers so I contacted Richer Sounds. Within a day I had a date for them to be collected, and within a week my refund had been processed. All contact with the help desk was answered promptly and gave clear, useful advice. Overall top quality customer service.

Why shop anywhere else?
A piece of kit bought in April proved somewhat unsatisfactory. A series of conversations with the manufacturer resulted in no improvement. Problem explained to Richer Sounds and a replacement was arranged immediately.
Really excellent service
My Sony TV remote gave up the ghost so called 'universal' replacement didn't work . Damien and Brighton Richer Sounds quickly found and ordered me a new sony replacement , it arrived within days at no charge to me . Wonderful customer service as always from this excellent Store - I would recommend them to anyone for both Sales and Service .

XGIMI AURA
Very pleased with the service from Roger at the Norwich branch, they even phoned to ask if the item was delivered safely. The projector XGIMI Aura is a fantastic machine, so good that I bought two of them. Excellent picture, the sound, by Harmon Karden is superb, vivid color, nice and bright. Highly recommended.
Due to a computer disaster
Due to a computer disaster, I lost all my files, including receipts and guarantees for three items purchased back in 2020. I emailed Richer sounds and within 24 hours a very helpful customer service representative, Billy Bland, had located the relevant documents and forwarded them to me. Customer service of the highest order! Thanks once again!
Poor service
I ordered a Bluesound flex 2i from the Watford branch on the 1st of July. Delivery was arranged for the 14th of July. By mid afternoon - no delivery. When I phoned the store I was told they were very sorry but there was no stock available and "the delivery company" should have told me that the delivery wasn't going to happen. Poor service all round.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM DANNY…
I bought a Hisense tv and it went developed a fault within the warranty. The tv was booked for a pickup to be repaired but the courier company was an absolute nightmare. Contacted customer service and spoke to a very helpful gentlemen, Danny Harrison, he sorted everything out, arranged for a replacement tv for next day delivery and also pick up the faulty tv. He called back when he said he would and was an absolute diamond and made the process very smooth and was extremely efficient and courteous. Danny is an absolute credit to your company and his customer service skills are excellent.

Excellent customer service- Had an issue with my Panasonic TV after an update, Danny ran through the procedure to reset the TV to factory defaults as this may resolve the issue. He was very helpful staying on the phone until I had set everything back up. A follow up call again the next morning to ensure the issue hadn't returned was excellent. Couldn't ask for anything more, best customer service I think I have ever had. He deserves a pay rise for service like that.

For all your home entertainment and hifi needs, use Richersounds!
This is the second time that I have purchased a product through Richersounds and once again their customer service has been A+, although there was a slight hiccup this was quickly rectified.
I was interested in purchasing the Philips 55OLED856 and contacted Richersounds and spoke to the attentive James Mclaren. My first phone call was to enquire about their finance packages that they offered and whether or not their prices were likely to drop,I also found out via James that if I could find a similar guarantee to what Richersounds offer with a lower price that they would price match this and take off £10 difference. With this information I waited to see if their prices would drop or the same tv elsewhere, and within a week another retailer had dropped their price. With this I went back to James and took out a finance plan which he sorted for me and walked me through up until it went through. He also set up my standard delivery on the Saturday and told me that it would come within 3-5 working days. Much to my surprise though the tv came on the Monday!
I was really happy with how James helped me through the whole process including the finance as I wanted to make sure that this was the right package for me. So once again, thank you James, much appreciated!
The hiccup occurred after the purchase which was that unfortunately the tv that I was sent had a fault, so after calling Richersounds they were quick to arrange an exchange and arrange for the tv to be disassembled and the new one assembled as me and my wife struggled due to the weight of the tv, and due to this I was worried about putting the tv back in the box and moving the tv to my tv stand. Unfortunately though on the day of the delivery 45 minutes prior to the exchange the delivery company rang up and had not been made aware of the services I required and therefore would not be able to dissemble or assemble the tv for me and because of this I had to rearrange with Richersounds for another day. Once this was rectified though my tv was delivered a few days later as I had requested.
So in summary overall I am really happy again with Richersounds as they always offer the best customer service and are really knowledgeable when it comes to a&v systems. Plus they offer the best deals, price matches and longest guarantees. Although there was a little miscommunication between Richersounds and the delivery company I would still highly recommend Richersounds for all of the above reasons and highly recommend James Mclaren for his excellent customer service and just to say that he really is an asset to Richersounds. Thanks again James.
